Battletorn was a three piece formed in NYC in 2004, this line-up released a couple singles, an LP, and toured the US in summer of 2005. In late 2005 the band became a two piece (William/Omid), and toured/released music/played shows through fall of 2010. Battletorn was inactive from 2011-2013, but played one-off reunion gigs in 2014 & 2015.
